Reviews and Ratings
The Homestead has a special charm that many longtime visitors will recognize, but recent renovations stripped away some of its original character. While the grounds are beautifully maintained, the lengthy walk from the parking lot to the room and a disappointing lack of pool access left me feeling underwhelmed. The staff's response to issues could also improve, making this stay less than perfect for what I paid.
My stay at Homestead Resort was disappointing due to multiple issues, despite its nice location and potential. The rooms were outdated, and I experienced significant service challenges, which left a sour impression on my vacation. The construction work made navigating the resort less enjoyable, further detracting from my overall experience. I can't recommend it based on my visit.
My stay at the Homestead was quite the adventure, especially walking through deep snow to find my room, but I appreciated the beautiful ice sculptures and fun activities. The rooms, however, felt outdated and not particularly well-maintained, and the overall service left much to be desired with several lapses. The amenities like the hot mineral pool seemed appealing, but I found other aspects disappointing, and I’m unsure if I’d return.
I had high hopes for my stay at this hotel, but it quickly turned sour. While I loved the location and the views from my room, the cleanliness of the sheets and the service left much to be desired. The long walks to the room from the parking lot were also a bit inconvenient. Overall, I don’t think I would choose to stay here again due to the service issues and the cleanliness problems I encountered.
I stayed at this hotel with high expectations due to its historical charm, but I was left quite disappointed. The room had some decent aspects, but the cleanliness and overall condition were lacking. The service was a hit or miss, with staff seeming overwhelmed and unhelpful at times. The location was convenient for exploring the area, but the dining options and facilities did not meet the standards I was hoping for.
